Use your phone to take a quick video and walk through each room and garage in your home. Save the video to your iCloud, Google drive, email it to yourself, or any other digital storage online storage. This way there can be no question of what items were in your home prior to the loss. It will also help you make the list when the insurance company asks.
If you live in Oklahoma it is very likely you own at least 1 firearm. Most homeowner’s policies do cover firearms. However, it is likely the policy has a limit of $2,000 or less. If it would cost you more than your limit, insurance is not going to pay in full.
