FAQs

At Claim Pros LLC we really are committed to answering your questions.  Below are some of the commonly asked questions we get.

What is a public adjuster (PA)?

A Public Adjuster is a licensed insurance professional who represents the interests of property owners, such as homeowners, policyholders, and business owners, in insurance claims. Unlike insurance company adjusters, PAs work exclusively for the policyholder.

When should I use a Public Adjuster?

It's advisable to consult with a Public Adjuster before filing any property insurance claim. While you can hire a PA at any stage of the claims process, engaging one at the outset can maximize effectiveness in handling your claim.

Do we work for the insurance company?

No, we exclusively represent policyholders. Our allegiance is to you, the insured party, ensuring that your interests are prioritized throughout the claims process.

What are the costs involved?

The fee for our services depends on the size and complexity of your claim, as well as whether we are hired before the claim is filed. Typically, our fee is a small percentage of the insurance settlement. Importantly, we are only compensated when you receive your insurance settlement.

What is the typical timeline for claims processing?

The duration of processing insurance claims can vary, depending on factors such as claim complexity and the responsiveness of your insurance carrier. While some claims may be resolved swiftly, others may take longer. Engaging a Public Adjuster can expedite the process significantly.

Will hiring a PA affect my insurance rates?

While filing a claim might impact your insurance rates, hiring a Public Adjuster will not influence your future premiums. Our role is solely to advocate for your interests in the claims process.

Are we insured and bonded?

Yes, we are fully licensed, insured, and bonded, meeting or exceeding state requirements to ensure protection for our clients.

Do we perform repairs?

No,  legally we cannot undertake the repair work ourselves. However, we maintain strong relationships with reputable restoration companies, roofing contractors, and general contractors statewide. We can connect you with trusted professionals to handle the necessary repairs.

Do you work with any insurance company?

Yes, we work for you, not your insurance provider. Regardless of which insurance carrier you have, you can hire our services.
